David is a visual artist known for transforming everyday scenes into compelling visual stories. Blending technical precision with artistic vision, he specializes in cityscapes, landscapes, and architecture that invite viewers to see the world differently.
A passionate traveler, David draws inspiration from diverse places, capturing scenes that evoke emotion and curiosity. Through workshops and talks, he helps other photographers push creative boundaries. His work is recognized across major digital platforms for its striking composition and depth.
ABDELRAHMAN GABR - KOREE
Korean, Egyptian, born in Queens, New York. Abdel Rahman Gabr (Koree) is an award-winning Filmmaker and Photographer, and also a Sony Middle East Ambassador. He captures inspiring and engaging stories and creative insights, working across a broad range of media, generating original creative insights and executions for Travel/automobile and lifestyle commercial photography.
Ahmed Elsakhawy
Ahmed Elsakhawy is an award-winning landscape photographer whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty and diversity of nature. His passion for capturing the natural world has earned him international recognition, with his photographs showcased in exhibitions around the globe.
Since 2018, Ahmed has been leading photography trips to Iceland—a country he proudly calls his second home. With 17 successful group expeditions under his belt, he brings a wealth of experience, insight, and passion to every journey. His deep connection to the Icelandic landscape and commitment to guiding others in their creative growth make him a proud and valuable part of this workshop.

Camera Body (spare body recommended if possible)
Wide lens (f2.8 or wider aperture)
Multiple lenses with a range of focal lengths ( 24-70 & 70-200 is recommended )
A sturdy tripod (critical in Iceland due to wind)
Remote timer or long exposure bulb control built-in on the timer
Multiple spare camera batteries
Head torch with a red mode (this is not for night vision, it makes it easier to work as a group, and stops us blinding one another)
Warm outdoor clothes and multiple thermal layers alongside base layers, rain and wind proofs, a set of waterproof hiking boots, winter socks, hat, gloves, neck warmer, hand warmers;
Laptop with lightroom classic and photoshop installed

ITINERARY & DETAILS
Our itinerary covers all corners of Iceland—starting and ending in Reykjavik—capturing the best of the South, East, North, and Westfjords.
On the first day, we begin with a visit to the Perlan Museum and a sunset shoot over the capital.
Well rested, we head to Gullfoss, Geysir, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, and finally sunset at Dyrhólaey viewpoint.
Sunrise at Reynisfjara black sand beach, the stunning Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and glacier views near Hofn follow.
We then explore Diamond Beach and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon at sunrise, with an optional glacier hike and ice cave tour.
The adventure continues into the remote east fjords, then will head to north with an optional whale-watching tour and spontaneous photo stops along the way covering the magical Godafoss waterfalls .
On our final day, we photograph the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and relax in the soothing waters of the Blue Lagoon before returning to Reykjavik.
